About this event

About Tabletop Gaming

Tabletop gaming is an umbrella term for any game played on a flat surface. These games typically involve physical components—such as boards, cards, dice, or miniatures—rather than electronic screens.

The hobby encompasses a wide variety of genres, including board games, card games, miniature wargames, and tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs).

What to Bring

  • Bring any tabletop game you love to play.
    • Participants are encouraged to bring the games they love and share them with others. You’ll also have opportunities to introduce your games and recruit fellow players to join in.
  • Warm clothing and/or space heater
    • The evenings inside of the building can get a bit chilly. The building is not heated and the only warmth is from space heaters or your well planned clothing.
  • Snacks
    • Bring snacks for you.
    • Bring snacks to share.
    • Healthy and or unhealthy snacks.
    • Warm snacks and/or cold snacks
    • If your snacks are specific for food allergies, please have a card with them indicating that.
  • Water bottle
  • Finger food potluck: Bring food or beverages for the finger food potluck. This can be anything you want. Make or bring something you love. You may be asked for your recipe!
  • Warm Food Prep: We want to provide some warm food each weekday session. The warm food will basically be a dinner replacement for those who can't fit dinner in between work and game play.
